What your market report contains

Each credit creates one report for one supported vehicle group and market. Coverage describes the tracked listings in that report; it is not a census of every Turo car in the city.

Account reports can be printed or saved as a PDF. Use credits and retrieve saved reports within 400 days of purchase. You can use remaining credits for another supported market or a later research session.

Buy a report with Stripe Link CLI

An agent can preview the data, request a quote and buy a report pack through Stripe’s Machine Payments Protocol (MPP). The confirmed payment returns the first report as JSON automatically; remaining credits stay with that order.

  1. Follow the agent purchase guide to install and sign in to Stripe Link CLI before creating a quote. Reuse an authorized Link session when available.
  2. Read the offer catalog and choose a supported preview. Save one private order ID, recovery key and exact quote request.
  3. Create a quote with the buyer’s billing location and terms agreement. Review the full USD total, including tax, and approve the purchase.
  4. Pay with Stripe Link CLI. If Link requests approval, show the buyer its verification URL and follow the guide’s approval and payment continuation steps.

The guide prepares the trusted CC_LINK_CLI path and private CC_REPORT_ORDER_DIR. After creating the quote, set PAY_URL to its payment URL, TOTAL_CENTS to its full quoted total and ORDER_KEY to the saved private key.

Keep the raw CLI output private: approval continuations can contain the order key. The JSON output is a one-item array wrapping the HTTP response. On a successful payment, parse its bodyto read the first report and remaining credits. The guide covers approval continuation and checking that payment is confirmed before using the report.

Keep the private key out of shared links and messages. If a payment response is lost, recover the same order before starting another purchase. Agent orders use their own credits and recovery key; they do not require a Carconomics account or add credits to one.

Read the evidence in context

Reports describe observed prices and listing changes. They do not establish host bookings, occupancy, income or an optimal rental price. Prices may include earlier observations; individual quote ages are not shown in the summary. Each saved report keeps its original observation timestamp.

A stale, thin or paused market cannot produce a new report. Read the methodology and compare the free Chicago market data or Los Angeles market data before buying. Carconomics is independent of Turo and Tesla.
