Terms of use
By using Carconomics — with or without an account — you agree to treat its rental-price data, comparisons, rankings, and calculators as informational evidence rather than a booking, availability, earnings, or savings guarantee, and to the account and billing terms below.
Observed data can change
Prices and availability can change after Carconomics observes them. Final taxes, protection, delivery, mileage limits, optional charges, eligibility, and booking terms must be confirmed directly on Turo. A daily price is a comparison unit derived from an observed trip total, not a separately bookable rate.
No financial or business promise
Fair value, Rental Value, market trends, peer bands, estimator bands, and energy scenarios are descriptive tools. They are not appraisals, forecasts, investment advice, revenue projections, occupancy estimates, profit claims, or recommended host prices.
Accounts
An account — created with an email magic link or Google sign-in; there are no passwords — is free and needed only for paid plans, report credits, and saved watches. Keep control of the signed-in mailbox: whoever verifies it can sign in. Carconomics may close accounts used for the abuses listed under responsible use. Deleting your account is self-serve on the account page and immediate; deletion cancels its active subscriptions.
Paid subscriptions
Three subscriptions exist, billed in US dollars. Plus — $10/month — renter tools across both tracked markets; today that is the unlimited premium price calendar. Host Pro — $29/month, or $228/year billed yearly — host tools across both tracked markets. Fleet — $99/month — Pro coverage of both markets, sized for up to 15 cars; Fleet is described for completeness and is not currently offered for purchase. Eligible beta-list members are charged a locked $19/month for monthly Host Pro; the lock persists for as long as that subscription stays active. A plan covers what it does today — future features are never pre-sold.
Free renter credits
Every account starts with 3 free renter credits. One credit unlocks one car’s full price calendar and renter analysis (re-opening an unlocked car is free), or one hour of the “Find the cheapest dates” sweep. Credits are a free grant — not currency, not purchasable, not transferable, and carrying no refund value; paid plans include unlimited unlocks while active.
One-off Car Buy Report packs
Car Buy Report packs are one-time purchases — 1, 3, or 5 report credits at $39, $79, and $109 — that add credits to the buying account. Credits are not currency, cannot be transferred, and are revoked if their purchase is refunded.
Renewal, cancellation, tax, and refunds
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancel any time through the billing portal on the account page: renewal stops and paid access runs to the end of the period already paid. Stripe processes payments for Carconomics; Stripe Tax calculates and collects tax where Carconomics has an active registration, and checkout requires accepting these terms. Carconomics handles refunds, disputes, receipts, and transaction support case by case; a refunded purchase revokes the credits or access it granted.
Services can change
Carconomics may add, change, pause, or retire features with notice on the site. When a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, the cancellation path above stays available.
Third-party services and marks
Carconomics is independent and is not affiliated with Turo, Tesla, any vehicle manufacturer, listing host, or official energy-data publisher. Third-party names and links identify the marketplace, vehicles, or public evidence sources involved. Stripe runs checkout and the billing portal under its own terms, and Google sign-in is optional and governed by Google’s terms.
Responsible use
Do not use the service to probe private host locations, bypass access controls, submit false consent, interfere with operation, or present Carconomics output as a verified booking, host identity, ownership claim, or guaranteed commercial result.
Method controls meaning: The public methodology is part of these evidence boundaries. When a surface shows unavailable, collecting, thin, paused, or stale, that label must not be reinterpreted as zero, current, or supported.
