Year, make, and base model must join exactly—or through a reviewed alias—to official FuelEconomy.gov records. Ambiguous trims remain an interval rather than a guessed efficiency.

What the study can and cannot answer

Does it compare final checkout totals?

No. Observed rental evidence and estimated trip energy are displayed separately. Taxes, protection, optional charges, delivery, mileage limits, and charging-network prices must be confirmed independently.

Does it use a generic EV efficiency?

No. The evidence gate requires exact or reviewed official vehicle identity. If official trims are ambiguous, Carconomics shows an interval or withholds the estimate.

Is the Luxury snapshot currently updating?

Luxury collection is currently paused by owner decision. The last verified snapshot may remain available, staleness is disclosed as a pause, and no new source calls are made.
